London Offshore Consultants has opened two new offices in the North Sea region, located in Newcastle, U.K., and Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
Malcolm Jowsey, a marine engineer, will lead the Newcastle office, and Ane Heidema, a former master mariner and consultant, will lead the Dutch office.
"The North Sea is hugely important for the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, both of which are major drivers for our business while the Baltic Sea is developing rapidly in the renewable sector," said Peter Holloway, LOC's regional director for Europe and Africa, in a written statement.
The new office openings are in line with LOC's global growth strategy. The marine and engineering consultancy plans to open five more new facilities in 2013.
