Navigation at Azov-and-Don canal is likely to be open ahead of schedule ¨C before April 1, 2009, PortNews IAA learnt from Azov-and-Don State Basin Administration of Waterways and Navigation. It should be noted that the decision has not been taken yet.
The length of waterways within the competence of the Azov-and-Don Basin Administration of Waterways and Navigation is 800 kilometer.
