CHINA Southern Airlines will launch a service on November 6 between Guangzhou and Vientiane, the capital of Laos, Logistics Week reported.

The new service will be the first from Guangzhou to Laos and also the fastest direct air service between China and Laos, the report said.

The airline will deploy A319 aircraft and each flight will take about two hours and 30 minutes.

China Southern will provide twice daily service with departures from Guangzhou at 0850 hrs on Tuesdays and Fridays, arriving at Vientiane at 1020 hrs. Return flights will leave Vientiane at 1120 hrs and arrive in Guangzhou at 1440 hrs local time.
