Air cargo rates out of Asia still climbing

2010-4-28

Air freight and charter rates from Asia into Europe continued to climb over the weekend as the scramble for capacity continued.

Some key carriers are still refusing new bookings and others are declaring force majeure on capacity allocation contracts and only taking ad hoc bookings at rates now more than four times higher than two weeks ago.
