Saudi Airlines Cargo is introducing its electronic airway bill (e-AWB) system to a number of international gateways and plans to install the tool across its global network in coming months.
CEO Nabil Khojah describes e-AWB as an "invaluable tool which will help us to improve the quality of our services while reducing processing costs", reports Atlanta-area Air Cargo World.
The arrival of the e-AWB will bring benefits such as reduced costs from no longer having to print multi-page AWBs, improved quality of service through the elimination of errors such as missing documents, greater visibility in terms of track and trace and better overall customer satisfaction.
