As of today, French low-cost airline Transavia France will be operating two weekly flights from Berlin-Tegel to Nantes. Flights will depart from Tegel every Monday and Friday at 4.25 p.m. and land in France's sixth-largest city at 6.35 p.m. Return flights will depart at 1.45 p.m., landing in Berlin at 3.50 p.m. Over the last 20 years, the city between Brittany and the Loire has become one of the most creative in France. All year round, the birthplace of writer Jules Verne offers visitors a wide variety of large and small cultural events. One particular highlight is the 50-tonne, 20-metre-high steel and wood elephant that marches along the banks of the Loire. Lovers of architecture can embark on a journey of discovery in the medieval "Quartier Bouffay" and enjoy a bit of savoir vivre in the little restaurants and bars. Established in 2006 by the Air France/KLM group and transavia.com in the Netherlands, Transavia France currently operates a fleet of eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft, all equipped with 186 seats in Economy Class. |
